More on Design: Walking through the drive-up ATM

It’s crazy that I would start noticing strange designs everywhere, but once they start to appear, they just surround you. Remember that my first and highest concern relates to what we produce in software, systems, reports and automated processes for business consumers. The Design of Everyday Things

Last weekend I took my daughter and one of her friends to meet up with some other friends in her class to see The Avengers movie. On the way into the theater, I snapped the picture on the right. Friday afternoon, my team and I hit on what we thought was a serious data issue that might have had a big impact on our sales team. The data coming into one end of a business process didn’t seem to be coming out the other as we expected. It turned out that we were mistaken about what we were looking at – it actually took us a few hours to figure out why the data seemed so anomalous.
